 Partial shade or partial sun conditions work well. If you have a window facing East or West your plant will likely enjoy making that spot its new home. 

Water when the top 1"-2" are dry. Grows faster when provided bright indirect light,  but will tolerate lower light(just expect growth rate to be slower).
