For the love of growing.

Welcome to Prop & Grow, our plant shop in Tampa, Florida. It all started with a couple of houseplants in our first home and one orchid that wouldn’t bloom again. Figuring out why sparked a love of plant care and propagation that kept growing.

Rescuing plants from the local store led to a Saturday flea market table. We barely sold a thing that first day, but we kept showing up. By listening to our customers and asking what they wanted us to carry, we grew our collection, earned our nursery license, and found our way.

Today, we focus on the plants we love most, especially aroids, and helping every plant person grow something they’re proud of. Whether you’re choosing your first houseplant, searching for a favorite, or discovering something new, we’re here to help you find something you’ll love growing.
